Mid-Season Maintenance and base-feeding fertilizer for Greens, Tees, and Sportsfields

Suståne® 10•2•10+Fe granular
Recommended Use

10-2-10+Fe natural based fertilizer is  ideal for application to greens and tees through the summer months, releasing 3 separate forms of N over 8-12 weeks, delivering a consistent clipping volume throughout its release pattern, applied as a stand alone maintenance application or as a base feed  in conjunction with foliar applied nutrition.

Description

Suståne 10-2-10 +Fe Natural Based Fertilizer provides 1:1 N:K and 80% slow-release nitrogen, organic nitrogen and methylene urea in a greens ready Fine Grade (100 SGN). Suståne 10-2-10+Fe combines Suståne organic compost base with iron sulfate organically chelated during the active aerobic composting phase providing for slow-release iron for enhancing chlorophyll production and turf color.

Professional Grade

Suståne products are derived from biologically stable humus-rich compost and contain both water soluble nitrogen (WSN) and slow release nitrogen (SRN), beneficial microbiology, and all 17 elements essential for plant photosynthesis. With a near-neutral pH, a low salt index and low ammonium nitrogen percentage, Suståne will not cause seedling stress or plant fertilizer “burn”. Suståne products increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC) by supplying humates and stable organic matter. Suståne’s organic and blended natural fertilizers provide all soil types with additional buffering capacity, allowing for more consistent and productive growth.

 Benefits of Suståne 10•2•10+Fe
  • Fast green up from 20% quick release water-soluble N
  • Built on Suståne compost base with the standard 1:1 N to K ratio to match plant uptake requirements
  • Will not burn or cause excessive top growth
  • Homogenous 1 mm particles - each particle contains all components
  • Fast, uniform coverage penetrates into turf canopy with light irrigation
  • Low Biochemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D) resulting in less soil oxygen loss through the critical summer months
