    Description 

    Suståne 3-6-3 All Natural Fertilizer with Humates and Mycorrhizae promotes a rapid rate of vegetative establishment. Quick ground cover minimizes soil ero- sion and the need for repairs or re-seed- ing. Suståne replenishes the soil with a rich supply of humus (stabilized organic matter) and the nutrients essential for quality growth. Suståne 3-6-3 is based on Suståne's biologically stable com- post, rock phosphate, and feather meal, plus, Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM) and humates. The addition of VAM and humates further enhance plant water and nutrient use efficiency.

    Recommended Use

    Rapid vegetative establishment, erosion control, wetlands and watershed areas, native plant areas, dune and beach restoration, burn area reestablishment, mine site reclamation, oil/gas/coal right of ways and pipelines, highway roadside establishment, protected natural areas, forests, parks and landscapes.

    Mycorrhizae

    Mycorrhizae work by dramatically increasing root surface area. This increase results in greater uptake potential of water and nutrients (particularly phos- phorus), which improves plant tolerance to drought stress and allows for reduced fertility during and after canopy establishment.

    Humates

    Suståne Humates are naturally occurring, unaltered oxidized lignite that increase nutrient availability and soil CEC leading to improved plant-nutrient uptake efficiency.
